November starts out with a passive turkey craft for the whole family in the center of the Library! Stop in during business hours to decorate a stained glass turkey. There will also be turkey feathers available to write what you are thankful for to add to the large turkey's tail in the Children's Area!

Letters to Santa! 11/4 to 12/14 Stop by the Library to write and mail your Christmas Wish List to Santa! text looks like a letter envelope with a santa stamp

 

Stop by the Library anytime during business hours from November 4th to December 14th to write and mail your Christmas Wish List to Santa! You can bring your letter from home or use the stationary and pencils provided. Stamp your envelope and place it in the mailbox to send your letter! Be sure to mail your letter early enough to give Santa time to reply!

It's not too early to start on creating handmade Christmas Cards for your friends and family!

It's time to party like a pilgrim with Thanksgiving-themed stories, games, crafts, N' more! This event enhances a regular Storytime for young children and their older siblings who might have the day off school!

Sweet Treats with Santa & Friends! 12/7 10 AM - 1 PM The Friends of the Library Treat Sale, Pictures with Santa, Face Painting, & More! vintage brown background with red & white snowflakes & poinsettias around the edges with 2 cups of cocoa and & cookies

 

The Friends of the HBMLibrary's Annual Christmas Treat Sale Open House will be held on Saturday, December 7th, from 10 AM - 1 PM.

Last year, the treats ranged from chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and red velvet cookies to pinwheels, brownies, and more!

Have the kids get their faces painted by a professional face painter before taking their pictures with Santa! Remember your camera!

The Community Room will be full of Santa-themed crafts and activities for all ages including, making a "Santa-cam" and the ever-popular present stacking.

 

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas! Annual Christmas Crafts Program with half wooden background with read and white felt ornaments: trees, snowflakes, mitten & stocking

 

Starting Monday, December 2nd, the center of the Library will be filled with many Christmas crafts for the whole family. This year's theme is ornaments! There will be lots for the kids to do and one specifically for adults. Keep an eye out for any crafts you might have missed in the past. All crafts are while supplies last, so don't wait until the last minute to bring the kids or your friends!

Adopt A Family Applications are available at the Library. Applications are due back no later than Monday, November 25th. If you would like to purchase anything on a child's wishlist, tags will be available at the Library. Call ahead at 614-879-8448 for availability. If you took any tags, they must be returned with the unwrapped gift by Saturday, December 14th at 2PM.

 

The Fire Fighters Toy Drive is back!

Applications are available at the Fire Department and the Library. You must be a part of Jefferson Township. The ages are newborn to 12th grade. Applications are due back by Thursday, December 5th. For questions about the applications, contact the Fire Department at 614-879-8265. The Fire Department is located at 745 West Main Street. 

Both locations are now accepting donations of new & unused toys for these children. The last day to drop off toys at the Library is Wednesday, December 18th at 7 PM.
